Exercise Benefits for Male Sexual Health
Men who are sexually dysfunctional suffer from low self esteem, bouts of depression and mood swings. Therefore, for a man to lead a happy life, it is important to have a healthy sexual life.Working out keeps the nervous system healthy. During sexual arousal, the brain sends signals through the spine to the nerves around the penis to initiate erection. If the nerves are damaged, which happens in the case of injuries, the signal does not reach the nerves at the penis, resulting in loss of erection.
Exercising helps to control blood pressure. In men who are suffering from hypertension, the capillaries around the penis burst with pressure. The new capillaries that are formed are harder and can resist the pressure better. But they also shrink in diameter due to which their carrying capacity decreases. Due to this, the circulation of blood to the penis also declines, leading to loss of erection. For people who workout have their blood pressure under control and less chances of developing hypertension.One of the symptoms of diabetes is erectile dysfunction. Men who workout regularly are able to control the sugar level in their blood and hence able to fight off erectile dysfunction better than men who don’t.
